How Clean is Your Cleanser?

We wanted fuss free skin care that is honest, clean and works! Starting with the basics – a face cleanser that softens, nourishes, keeps our skin calm and free of breakouts, and uses ethically & sustainably sourced ingredients.

Using pure Australian botanicals with nutrient rich & hard-working actives, we formulated the Rosalina Face Cleanser to tick all these boxes!

INGREDIENTS THAT MATTER

We wanted to create a cleanser that was gentle and would work for those with skin sensitivities and for all ages. We have used the gentlest natural (toxin free) foaming agent there is and combined it with some of the amazing ingredients below to create a cleanser that is like no other. 

ROSALINA

We used Australian Rosalina for its anti-bacterial and deep-cleansing properties. It is highly regarded for its potent anti-microbial properties. It cleanses without aggravating, soothes, hydrates, and will also help unclog your pores. 

WHITE WILLOW

White Willow extract is a natural source of Salicylic Acid, and due to the high Tannin content, it is a natural astringent that also gently exfoliates. It also contains anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-itching and analgesic properties. The Gallotannins, which are also found in green tea, are proven to reduce reddening.

QUANDONG

Quandong fruit extract has outstanding antioxidant properties, aiding cell regeneration, and with its high anti-microbial levels is effective in skin care. It also contains 250% more antioxidants than green tea.

WHAT WE DON’T WANT IN A CLEANSER

Since much of what we put on our skin is absorbed into our bodies, we want to make sure that our cleanser does not contain any hidden nasties. Below are the ingredients that we need to look out for:

  • Propylene Glycol
  • Sulphates
  • Synthetic fragrances
  • Bisphenol A (BPA)
  • Artificial colours
  • Aluminium
  • Silicones
