Feed Your Skin: Brightening Green Quinoa Salad

This Salad is a multivitamin blast for the skin. The live enzymes in raw vegetables ae crucial for all biochemical reactions that happen in the body that affect skin health, digestion, energy production, nutrient absorption and detoxification.

Enzymes can even help to repair the DNA and RNA which improves the runover and repair of skin cells.

Ingredients:

  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • ½ Lebanese Cucumber
  • Handful of snow peas
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 Tbspn of sauerkraut
  • Small handful of parsley
  • Grated lemon rind
  • ½ cup of cooked quinoa

Dressing:

  • 1 Tbspn of hemp seeds
  • 2 Tbspn of Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbspn of natural yoghurt
  • ½ tspn of garlic powder
  • ½ tspn of onion pwder
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Wash and cut salad vegetables adding to a bowl
  2. Cook Quinoa and add to bowl
  3. Prepare dressing by blending all ingredients together.
  4. Toss everything together
