    • This prize pack has been thoughtfully curated in celebration for NAIDOC week. 

    Artist Susie Gilbert is a senior Law woman from the Bidyadanga area. She was born in the Anna Plains country and currently lives in Broome. Short Street Gallery describes her as a wonderful and unique presence. Her paintings are as vibrant and engaging as the artist herself. 

    Susie named the painting "All the Jila" and said "This is a travelling painting, when was young I walked all around country, my mummy and daddy, and brother, we travelled from Jila to Jila, collecting mayi, and camping."
