Rohr Loves: Face Yoga

Face yoga is a gentle form of strength training for your face and neck muscles. Although other cosmetic interventions can be more effective, it offers a great natural alternative to improving the skin. It’s benefits include:

  • Helping with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Toning and plumping the cheeks
  • Decreasing straining pain and tension in overworked facial muscles
  • Increasing blood flow and circulation which assists in clearing the skin.

Why not try it out today with our very own, Rohr Face Yoga Routine?!

Face yoga is a natural way to promote facial muscle tone, reduce tension, and potentially improve the appearance of your skin. Here's a basic face yoga routine you can try. Remember to perform each exercise gently and consistently for the best results:

Warm-Up:

Use a few drops of our Boab and Rosehip Oil on your fingertips and start by gently massaging your face and neck with your fingertips to increase blood circulation.

The Brow Smoother:

Place both hands on your forehead, fingers spread apart.
Apply gentle pressure and sweep your hands outward, towards your temples.
Repeat 10 times.

The Eye Firmer:

Place your index fingers on the outer corners of your eyes.
Gently pull the skin towards your temples.
Close your eyes tightly while doing this.
Hold for 5 seconds and release.
Repeat 5 times.

The Cheek Lifter:

Smile as wide as possible with your lips closed.
Place your fingers on the corners of your mouth and gently lift them up.
Hold for 5 seconds and release.
Repeat 5 times.

The Neck Firmer:

Tilt your head back and look at the ceiling.
Place your fingertips on your neck and gently stroke the skin downward.
Repeat 10 times.

The Jaw Toner:

Tilt your head back and look at the ceiling.
Move your lower lip over your upper lip as far as you can.
Hold for 5 seconds and release.
Repeat 10 times.

The Relaxing Lion:

Inhale deeply through your nose while scrunching your face.
Exhale forcefully through your mouth, sticking out your tongue as far as possible.
Repeat 5 times.

The Forehead Smoothener:

Place both hands on your forehead, fingers facing inward.
Apply gentle pressure and sweep your hands upwards.
Repeat 10 times.

The Full Face Massage:

Finish your routine with a gentle full-face massage using upward and outward strokes to promote relaxation.

Remember to perform these exercises gently and regularly for the best results. Face yoga takes time and consistency to show noticeable improvements, so be patient and give it some time to work. Additionally, consult with a healthcare professional or dermatologist if you have any concerns about your skin or specific facial conditions.
